Waterproof outdoor clothing is often a big investment, so looking after it properly pays you back in the long run.

Put simply, the build-up of dirt over time on the outer surface of your garment will begin to compromise its ability to breathe resulting in sweat build-up.

From a sustainability perspective, understanding that frequent washing will wear out a garment much faster than normal, we recommend washing should be limited to when your garments performance is noticeably compromised.

Preferably, preserving your garments performance by regularly brushing or wiping off any surface dirt and keeping it free of oil and grease is always a better alternative towards caring for our environment.

Often overlooked is storage of your garment, we recommend you store your garment where possible on a hanger in a space protected from moisture and direct sunlight to avoid it becoming mouldy or musty.
