Description

Made using a lightweight and durable fabric and with tapered leg design, the Altura Esker Women's Trail Trousers look good both on and off the bike.

There is increased freedom of movement when cycling thanks to articulated knees while water is kept out by a durable water-repellent coating along with elasticated cuffs, designed to keep you comfortable on your adventures.

They also have room for knee pads but look good off the bike too when worn for walking or hiking in changeable weather. The zipped thigh pockets let you keep personal belongings close by.

Too short

Flattering fit but too short. I'm 5ft 7in and trousers finished above my socks when I tried them on. Returned.

Great trousers, flattering it. I

Great trousers, flattering it. I found it unusual that they were a slip on job (no zip/ buttons etc) but, anywhere you have a seam water gets in so actually it’s a really good feature. I’ve worn them in standard rain and they aren’t watertight but they don’t claim to be either. They’re certainly more waterproof than regular bib tights (obviously). Very comfortable to ride in, stretch well when you’re in cycling position and no unnecessary added bits to flap about in the wind.

One word of caution, they are tight at the ankles so getting them off is a bit of a challenge. Fortunately my ankles are a regular size and shape but, if you have slightly puffy ankles or they swell when riding, you’ll need to sit down or find an assistant!

I am 5"7 so tall

I am 5"7 so tall but not very tall and I found that these have a very high and uncomfortable crotch (I also found this with two different sizes of trouser I ordered). I also found that they were tight around the thighs, which I didn't like. I have a skinny build and some leg muscles, but I don't think I have huge thigh muscles so I was quite disappointed in the fit. Quality seems fine, although I have only worn them a few times. They shrank even further when I washed them on a normal wash, so I regret not returning them at this point along with the trousers I ordered. Nice cut and features, but odd sizing!

I already have one each of these items, great fit and quality, couldn’t resist more on sale. Thin but highly durable, for all but the coldest temperatures. Slightly rain resistant, elasticated side panels, pull on, no fastenings. Very comfortable and a great fit.

Bought for the misses. Great trousers, water resistance has already been tested and passed! They fit TTS, due to her long legs they are a bit short (seems to be an issue with ALL brands tho) all in all great comfortable trousers 8/10
