Coming from someone who always finds something to criticize in product design, this bag has me nearly speechless.

Excellent Waterproof Backpack

This bag is great for my commutes, I can fit in everything I need for work and even in heavy rain all my gear inside has stayed dry. The bag itself is lightweight, the straps are comfy and easy to adjust. The large Hi-Viz areas are an added bonus for the ride home on the darker nights.

Fantastically designed

Removable waist straps helped a lot with comfort while riding.Firm structure.Over-the-top closure.Good colour and reflectivity.Holds almost as much as my previously best (Lomo) but due to the sensible closing mechanism does it better.I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Waterproof, looks good, comfortable and lightweight

I've been using this back on my daily cycle commute for eight weeks. It replaced an older, heavier and non waterproof bag. I'd recommend for anyone to buy this bag. What I liked:Waterproof, looks good, comfortable and lightweight. Loads of room for my stuff and easier to pack than my previous bag. Also easy to close. I have read some reviews which talk about the closing system not been secure when the bag is not full, and I understand why they would say this but this can be overcome by twisting the strap holding the closing buckle a couple of times which tightens evrything up. , see picture.

Great concept, requires improvement.

The bag certainly offers a waterproof solution and provides sufficient comfort and possesses good reflective properties.

I think this bag is perfect if travelling light or from home to work directly. For me, I cycle and then catch a train to work. In the bag I have a laptop, work uniform, lunch, bottle, snacks, pens, notepad, glasses case and deodorant can. The bag admittedly fits all this in, although in no specific order. The main issue is trying to gain access to the zip pocket when the bag is packed with stuff. Because of the pocket's location, halfway down the laptop sleeve, it's quite difficult to grab something quickly , as the laptop and other items function as a pincer against my hand, preventing easy access to those precious items such as lip-balm, tissues or headphones.

Another issue relates to water bottle storage. I carry a 1L bottle around which of course is thrown inside the bag; with laptop, uniform and other items; having the potential for a leaky bottle nightmare. Surely a bit of elasticated netting on the outside of the bag wouldn't have compromised the waterproofing aspect, not to mention making it much easier to take a swig.

Overall, good bag, but could do with a few tweaks. I.e relocate mesh inner pocket and add another larger pocket whilst you're at it, and provide outside storage for a water bottle.

Do all this and then you'd be staring down the barrel of a 5 star review.
Good luck in the redesign. 👍

Keeps everything dry

Just had the first heavier rain and this backpack kept my things absolutely dry! I don't even use it for cycling but got tired of soggy bags and finally invested in this.
It's spacious and I can fit my regular stuff plus some shopping or a coat in there.
It's super lightweight itself and I can definitely recommend it!

Quality, quite high volume cycling bag for commute

wanted a decent commuting cycling bag which could double as a daily commute bag when travelling by train also, and for overnight bike travel to an event in summer. seems high quality, laptop insert is useful, simple design is good for packing in good amount of kit, and handy you can expand with the fastener. seems comfy with the padding and air vents too. reflective details also good. easy to purchase and delivery great, packaging good.

Big Bag

Arrived promptly and was larger than I imagined/expected. Thought it maybe too big for me but fits nicely, over shoulder view slightly obstructed but mot a massive issue

It works

I was a bit worried buying this. I commute 12km X2 whatever the weather. When buying a cycling bag I had 2 main goals in mind: my clothes and laptop should remain dry and it shouldn't hurt my back. Without trying it on first or feeling it it was a gamble. I have to admit that this backpack works really well. Quality is there and it has been well designed.

You can get a fair bit of stuff in it

Very comfortable to use I use for my cycle to work every day and carries lunch box, drink and work uniform with plenty of room. It is also very waterproof so my uniform doesn’t get wet

Cordialement

Bag seems well made, has good layout inside, holds all my daily kit for my commute, hi-vis is brilliant, style and comfort very good, like the liop for attaching a light, the only thing i woyld change for the better is the sides should have a cargo type net to hold water bottle or small items thats needed to hand, it would then be a 10 out of 10 for me

30L cycle bag

After receiving the bag I took it for a spin. The only thing that let's it down is the straps or rather the waist clips. A little weak. I did read the other comments regarding this item and sadly it is true. But found a few spare I had from an old rucsac and attached.

Cracking bag

So I bought the Thunderstorm city bag to ensure when I arrived at work my uniform would be bone dry. Living in the unpredictable southwest of England, you can be sure rain wont be far away (even if they say it isn’t…)
I’m impressed with the capacity, and the sturdy feel of the bag. All the components look and feel like quality materials you can trust. The back strap system is comfy and solid, I’ve not experienced any real sway so far, even when powering uphill. My only criticism is a mesh bottle pocket on the side would be a lovely touch. Cheers

Really nice bag, lots of space very happy.

Really nice bag, lots of space very happy.I was a bit worried that it was too expensive. But it's a fantastic commuting bike bag. I can get what I need in, an adjustable size. It keeps things dry and has a good slot for my Macbook.

Excellent for longer trips

I bought this initially for a London to Paris cycle challenge. While during the challenge this bag was transported each day by the challenge company (so wasn't on my back all day) , I used it to pack 4 days worth of gear and food and rode a few miles with it to the start and then after arriving home. It's really comfortable, also as I'm petite it just fits the length of my back and isn't overwhelming. Good balance with the rectangular shape and well designed shoulder straps. I love it and use it regularly for supermarket trips when not cycling!

Great size but has its problems

The volume the bag can hold is great but like other reviews it could have been refined with extra compartments inside instead of feeling like a black hole struggling to find smaller items in.My main issue is the padding on the right strap is slipping down and bunching in the middle of the strap. I probably would have spent slightly more money if I know this would happen as it’s frustrating having one uncomfortable strap and one strap which doesn’t have this problem.

Great back pack

I purchased this as a present for a friend, she absolutely loves it. Plenty of space, comfortable when cycling and can be seen from the moon! also very easy to clean

Practical and comfortable

Took this on a bike tour in Italy. Wore for three full days on the bike, no problems with discomfort. Would be nice to have a side pocket for a phone etc, but the simplicity of the bag (just one very big cavity) is welcome. Useful loops to attach lights (rear and sides). Bright yellow and reflective bits add confidence re visibility. Excellent waterproofing.Well worth getting if you need a back pack while riding.

Only lasted 1.5 years, bottom weld is too weak

Ripped after 2 hours of use.

The webbing that holds the foam strip in the shoulder strap has ripped after 2 hours of use. This is a manufacturing fault and really disappointing.

Comfortable and large

I purchased this bag for my daily commute to and from work. It has been fantastic and is large enough to carry everything I need for the day. It is also very comfortable to wear while riding. It has a space for my 13’ laptop so it doesn’t get marked. The only negative is that it doesn’t have any pockets on the outside but I can live without them. While it is a bit pricey it is definitely worth the money.

Great for my bike commute

I use this when commuting to work on my bike. Easy to use and the colour helps me to be seen by drivers.
